Feeding Instructions

Feed as the sole ration from hatch to 22 weeks.

Don’t let feeders run empty.

Clean feeders and waterers regularly.

Provide fresh, clean water at all times.

Provide appropriate size grit as needed.

Oyster shell or coarse-ground limestone may be fed from 16 weeks of age for laying birds.

Layer replacement pullets should be switched to Country Feeds Layer at 16 weeks or the onset of lay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by clyde from The Best Feed I agree with all the benifits of this feed..It is the best you can get for your chick needs..I’ve tried other brand of chick starter grower thats not medicated and can honestly tell you the sickness rate is fairly high..BUT when I use the Nutrena medicated starter grower the rate of sickness went down .The chicks digest the feed easily and grow like crazy and the intake of the vitamins and minerals come together to make great healthy chicks absorbing everything Nutrena Country feed provides….

The formula encourages growth and high digestability. I haven’t lost a single chick to unknown issues in the several years I’ve been raising chicks.
