The chickens like the flavor, will let cheaper bland looking brands sit, prefering to eat from the feeder with Nutrena. I never realized roosters and hens not laying can get too much calcium from layer feed. I keep a rooster with my hens for protection and comraderie, they are so much happier with a strong flock bond. The roosters feathers have become beautiful with Nutrena All Flock. Guinea hens only lay part of the year. When they are not laying all the nutrition in Nutrena All Flock keeps them glowing and strong, ready for the next laying season. Guinea hens lay lots of eggs during their season and their eggshells are strong. The yolks are the prettiest in the county.
