Rated 1 out of 5 by Erin from Killing My Flock and Income Thanks to Nutrena changing their formulation, I have had nothing but Riboflavin Deficiency in my birds for the last few months…conveniently right after you changed your packaging and formula. I just lost a show silkie, about to lose a breeder d’Uccle hen, may lose my best show/breeder d’Uccle rooster, lost a breeder d’Uccle hen, lost an Araucana rooster, and my last Ameraucana is going to have to be euthanized, and lost my silver Wyandotte hen. PS, this has all been in 40 days btw. I had 1 bird get a necropsy and had 7 random birds tested for Mareks and other diseases, all clean. They all came back extremely deficient in B2/Riboflavin. I had 5 of the chicken feeds from the Naturewise line tested as well. Fresh out the back 1 bag of the bags of All Flock had mold and severely lacked B2/Riboflavin, Hi-Pro Scrath, Silkie Ornamental Layer and Silkie Ornamental Chick had minimal levels of B2/Riboflavin AND had tons of large duck pellets/pearls and other pelleted foods mixed in, Harvest Blend had minimal levels of B2/Riboflavin, and finally the regular Non-Medicated Chick feed had NO B2/Riboflavin. When contacted, the company replied about rabbit food (which was not what I contacted about) and said they saw reports online of their rabbit foods making rabbits sick. And brushed me off. Coincidence? No. I am not the only one feeding Naturewise seeing their birds sick and dying, babies stunted in growth and numerous other effects of B2/Riboflavin deficiency. Why would you change the formula? Why would you remove the single most important vitamin a chicken needs? Your food was the best before, I had birds never look better, or be healthier…and now? A good chunk of my flock is gone, a good chunk of my income is gone. Never will recommend or buy this food ever again.
