    • Your horse’s ideal feed rate depends on body weight, activity level, and forage intake.
    • To dial in the right amount, start with the Horse Feed Calculator below. It generates a personalized daily ration (lbs/day) based on your inputs, giving you a practical baseline to fine‑tune.
    • Monitor body condition weekly and adjust in small increments as needed.
    • Divide the recommended feeding level into two or more equally spaced feedings per day.
    • Feed clean, good quality hay.

Keeps the pasture ponies at a good weight with very little feed. I noticed their coats getting shinier and their bodies getting rounder. Good value for the money!
