    • Your horse’s ideal feed rate depends on body weight, activity level, and forage intake.
    • To dial in the right amount, start with the Horse Feed Calculator below. It generates a personalized daily ration (lbs/day) based on your inputs, giving you a practical baseline to fine‑tune.
    • Monitor body condition weekly and adjust in small increments as needed.
    • Divide the recommended feeding level into two or more equally spaced feedings per day.
    • Feed clean, good quality hay.
    • Salt and fresh water should be available free choice.
    • When changing diets, transition gradually over 5–7 days.

I recently swapped to the Nutrena Triumph Professional pellet back in April after noticing my horses just didn’t look as good as they had been on another brand of feed. They were looking ribby and had dull coats. I have a variety of horse breeds of all ages and after the feed change, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their coats are shiny and dappled out now! Thank you for an amazing product at an affordable price.
